Dramatic Coachings

In addition to career guidance, The Empowered Musician also provides dramatic coaching for classical singers with soprano Chelsea Basler.

Basler specializes in modern American repertoire and has premiered several roles in the modern repertoire. Chelsea performs regularly with Boston Lyric Opera. In the fall of 2019, she joined the roster of The Metropolitan Opera, covering the role of Pousette in Manon.

Chelsea has also performed with Santa Fe Opera, Virginia Opera, Opera Festival di Lucca, San Diego Opera, Sarasota Opera, Nashville Opera, Pasadena Opera, Opera Saratoga, Opera Louisiana, Des Moines Metro Opera, Ohio Light Opera and Tanglewood Festival.
