"I tailor coachings to the individual needs and concerns of each singer. Topics covered include: authenticity of language, commitment to expression through diction, specificity of vowels and consonants, breath and phrasing, using the text to aid your legato line, stylistic considerations, dramatic interpretation, audition prep, etc. I am particularly engaged in striking that delicate balance between faithfully observing the wishes of the composer and not getting so caught up in the markings in the score that you feel trapped by them. I have experience working with singers at every level of the career, and look forward to working with you, wherever you are in your singing journey!"
